Description:

OPGW cable is the short for optical ground wire; it is the optical fiber composite overhead ground wire.

OPGW cable has one or more optical fibers inside, and contains stainless steel tube, or seamless aluminum tube.

Applications

It is applied on high voltage power transmission lines like 110KV, 220KV, and/or 500KV.
It can replace traditional static, shield , earth wires on overhead power transmission lines
It Shields the high voltage conductors from lightning.
It provides telecommunications path and the third party communications
It provides a path for the transmission of voice, video or data signals.
